Couples Therapy

Some common things I help clients with are:
- Building communication and problem solving skills
- Speaking your truth powerfully and respectfully
- Learning to listen
- Deepening your empathy and compassion for one another
- Defining and upholding boundaries
- Identifying disrespectful behavior and eliminating it
- Building a lifestyle of kindness and generosity
- Growing your sexual relationship
- Developing a mutual sense of understanding, acceptance and value
- Maintaining a set of common interests
- Knowing how and when to let things go – and when not to
Research shows that, when it comes to relationship issues, seeing a therapist who is specifically trained in couples therapy is very important. I have a strong commitment to maintaining the highest levels of education and training in couples specific issues and therapy. I meet with couples weekly for one hour. Sometimes I meet with either or both partners individually for a session or two. Feel free to talk with me about any concerns or questions you might have and I will be happy to advise and accommodate.
